I just realized tonight that I left off the one of the most important ingredients in my Blueberry Buckle recipe . . . the flour!!
It has been posted since early July, and I’m just now finding out, I’ve probably had people cussing me out all along ;( and thinking this is the worst recipe ever!! I apologize!!
Anyway click on over (scroll down a couple of recipes) and read the corrected recipe and then try it out, you won’t be sorry.
You know what that means, a yummy recipe, and do I have a Yummy recipe for you today!!!
BLUEBERRY BUCKLE! Say what!? I get the blueberry, but what is a “buckle?”
Well . . . a buckle is an old-fashioned, single-layer cake with a streusel-type topping. The batter is quite dense. As the cake bakes, the batter sinks to the bottom of the pan, which makes the streusel buckle on top.
I use this recipe for breakfast like a coffee cake, but many use it as a dessert. Either way it is out of this world. If you like blueberry muffins, You will love this, and so will your kids.
Here’s a picture to entice you 😉 Click on it and get the recipe!
